Project: "In The Flesh" Retreat T-Shirt Design
Details: St. Joseph's Catholic Church requested a shirt design for their Spring 2009 Retreat "In The Flesh." Inspired by Ezekiel 36:26, the design features a "heart of flesh" created as a hand-painted illustration similar in style to a medical diagram. -
Client: St. Rose, St. Peter's and Holy Family Life Teen
Project: "Unstoppable" Retreat T-Shirt Design
Details: This shirt was created for three parishes in the Diocese of Sacramento for their combined Spring 2009 Retreat "Unstoppable," developed by Life Teen in Mesa, Arizona. This design is heavily typographic, featuring hand-drawn lettering. Inspiration for the design came from the life of St. Paul who suffered much persecution for the faith, but remained unstoppable in his convictions. -

Project: "Revolutionary Love" Retreat T-Shirt Design
Details: St. Rose Edge Youth Minister requested a shirt design for their Spring 2009 Retreat "Revolutionary Love," developed by Life Teen in Mesa, Arizona. Inspired by the Constructivist movement and Revolutionary Posters, the design utilizes geometric abstraction and a bright color palette. -

Project: "Live Out Loud" Retreat T-Shirt Design
Details: Combining efforts for the Fall 2008 Life Teen Retreat, St. Joseph Marello in Loomis, CA & St. Rose of Lima in Roseville, CA requested a shirt design for the theme, "Live Out Loud." The final solution was printed on booklets, made into a poster and printed on t-shirts in both guys and girls style shirts. -

Project: T-Shirt Design
Details: This was a personal project inspired by Eph. 1 v. 18, "May the eyes of [your] hearts be enlightened, that you may know what is the hope that belongs to his call." To the Christian faithful, "knowing your heart" means knowing the heart of Christ, his most Sacred Heart, and placing His heart at the center of your own. The entire design is hand-drawn. -

Details: St. Rose Edge Core team leader requested a shirt design be created for the Fall 2008 Edge Core Members. I designed a solution that was both creative and fashionable. The angel wings are hand-drawn, as well as the small "St. Rose" text. The rest of the graphics were created using Adobe Illustrator. -

Project: "Full-Filled" Upperclassman Retreat
Details: St. Rose Life Teen requested a shirt design for their Spring 2008 Upperclassmen Retreat called "Full-Filled," a theme developed by Life Teen in Mesa, Arizona. The primary goal of the design was to reflect the theme, and to define what it means to be "Completely fullfilled in Christ." -

Project: "Cry The Gospel" Retreat
Details: St. Rose Life Teen requested a shirt design for their Spring 2007 "Cry the Gospel" Retreat. Inspired by retro stock market imagery, I created a graphic that clearly represents what it means to "Cry the Gospel" with your clothing. The design was printed on both men's and women's long sleeve.

Details: Angel Kisses is a small business specializing in the creation of hand-made soaps, lotions, bath salts, and body butter. This project included the design of the company logo, and designing the packaging for the entire product line, including 15 soap labels, body butter tins, lotion label wraps and gift basket sets.Client: JJ Denim™

Details: JJ Denim & Co. is a clothing boutique in Fort Meyers, Florida specializing in trendy denim apparel for men. The look of the new company had to be youthful and edgy to appropriately reflect the store. I designed their logo, business system and several pieces of marketing material including VIP and discount cards.Client: MyyHunt

Details: MyyHunt is a Sacramento-based company selling hunting and hunting-related equipment. The client wanted to avoid the use of the stereotypical 'target' graphic, and focus rather on realistic-looking Elk antlers. The client also requested to have the solution integrate the two "Y" letters as part of the antler graphic. I created several solutions and the final chosen graphic is shown on the right.Client: ReCreditPair

Details: Re-Credit-Pair is a Sacramento-based Credit Repair company selling unique credit repair software available for purchase. They requested to see solutions that included their slogan, "Put Your Credit Into Repair!" I created several solutions, and the final chosen graphic is shown last in the series. I chose to show the purple and green first because, well, it was my personal favorite.Client: Villa Festiva

Details: Villa Festiva is a new private beachfront villa located in Troncones, Mexico. The client requested a logo solution that integrated a tropical hibiscus flower. I shaped the upper portion of a lower-case letter "f" to seamlessly blend with a three-color hibiscus illustration.

Details: Direct Mail Express (DME)'s Salute to Success Champagne Package was a promotional end-of-the-year package delivered to over 30 of their top clients thanking them for their business. This "thank you" package included a customized front and back label design which highlighted DME's personalized one-to-one marketing capabilities. The package also featured two engraved champagne glasses.

Client: Concours D' Elegance Car Show

Details: The Concours D'Elegance car show committee requested a poster design for their classic-and-contemporary car show. Rather than work with any photography, I decided to paint a watercolor of one of the committee member's personal cars... a classic Morgan. The final solution was printed as posters, on t-shirts and as kitchen magnets. The original artwork was sold after the show to the car's owner.Client: Mauro Panaggio
Project: Invitation & Program Booklet
Details: Mauro Panaggio, high school and college basketball coach for over 40 years, needed an invitation and program booklet designed for a special ceremony in honor of his coaching career from 1956 - 1977. The idea was to keep an orange-and-grey basketball theme while highlighting the provided old black-and-white photography by attaching the old (often curled up) photos to blank paper using paper clips. Taking pictures of the old photos and using those in the booklet created a unique 3-D look.Client: Michael James Mette

Details: Michael James Mette is a Catholic Worship Leader of the Southside Youth Ministry program in St. Louis, MO. Recording artist and songwriter, Michael requested the creation of a CD cover design, poster design and music book cover design for his album "Consume My Heart", released independently in the Fall of 2007. The final design solution and the hand-drawn graphic closely mirrored Michael's personal style, and all photography for this project was taken by me.-

Their business system and several pieces of marketing material including VIP and discount cards were all created to reflect the JJ Denim logo in style and color, with the addition of blue jean graphics added to the material. Details: The Association of One is an organization specializing in non-profit and commercial outreach. Led primarily by one person, this organization needed a look that was representative of an individual powered by a collective group. Logo, business system and a “white paper” were all created.
